Privacy Policy

The short version

SLS keeps your work on your own phone. If you choose to sign in and turn on sync, your jobs are also saved on our server so your team can see them. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, your name, and your company name.
• Your work, if you use sync: jobs, floor plans and plan images, device lists (including IP addresses, MAC addresses and serial numbers), photos, notes, quotes, parts lists and prices, customer names and addresses that you type in, and customer signatures that you collect.
• Subscription details: whether your subscription is active. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

What stays only on your device

Without an account, everything you enter is stored only in your phone's browser storage. We cannot see it. If you clear your browser data or lose the phone without a backup, it is gone.

Who can see your data

• Your team: the owner of a team can see all jobs from that team. Employees can see only their own jobs and the parts list the owner shares. The owner chooses whether employees can see costs.
• Customers you share with: a proposal link contains the proposal you chose to share, including prices, the floor plan and your business contact details. Anyone who has the link can open it, so send it only to the customer.
• Us: the people who run the service can technically access the database for support, security, or to fix problems. We do not look at your jobs or customer information except when needed for those purposes, or when the law requires it.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in the United States), Stripe (payments), and Netlify (hosting the app). They process data only to provide their service to us.

Keeping your data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and all of its data at any time by emailing the address below. If a subscription lapses, your data stays available to read and export, but new changes stop syncing until the subscription is renewed.

Your choices

You can use the app without an account. You can save a backup file of all your data from the More screen. You can ask us for a copy of, or the deletion of, your data.

Your customers' information

You decide what customer details to enter and whether to sync them. You are responsible for having the right to record that information and to collect signatures and photos at your customers' sites, and for following the laws that apply to your business.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Each business's data is separated from every other business by access rules in the database. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has access to your account.

Children

SLS is for business use by adults. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account holders in the app.
